Sir William's grave is not far from George Gillespie's in the Western Necropolis. I found it when I was on some Founders' Trail searches. I don't have the photographs on this laptop. I'll post a couple later.
I think the Glasgow Battalion headquarters are based at Ibrox Parish Church in Clifford Street. That was the former Bellahouston Parsih Church. Mr Wilton was a member there. Its congregation merged with those of Ibrox Church, where Mr Struth was a member, and Steven Memorial. For the real anoraks, the Sanctuary was designed by architect James Smith, father of the infamous Madeleine.

1st Inverkeithing - just found out it's no longer going, folded in last few years.
Won our battalion under 14 football league twice in a row, and reached finals of national five-a-side tournament, playing against teams from Glasgow, Birmingham and London in the Fife Centre, Glenrothes.
