Anything to improve the atmosphere in the stadium is a good thing, east or west enclosure would be my preferred area for the safe standing.

    Good statement.

I reckon there'll be a huge demand for people moving to a safe standing area.

Why IMO it should be made CF1-CF5:

I believe the Main Stand and SJ shouldn't be touched, for traditional reasons or otherwise. Club Deck couldn't happen, Enclosures I feel would be a waste as the colour and bounce wouldn't make the tele...
Broomloan couldn't happen for the obvious, Govan corners alone wouldn't meet the demand... And to make the section rear over front would be plain daft.

Thus, we have the Copland Front, the traditional Rangers end, it would be perfect.

RFFF would be best covering this than that stand at the training ground imo

I reckon there will be good demand from fans wanting to remain in the area wherever the SS is going to be.

I presume these guys will get first option if they're already located in that area.

    Seems only fair.

Would be interesting to hear the views of supporters who are presently seated in Copland Front.

Correct, why the enclosures when displays and colour will be hidden from view from a quarter of the ground and the TV?

The enclosure would be a good choice if he TV cameras were relocated to the SJ. but I think that's unlikely because of the sun.

    I don't think it would.

The hospitality and suits above aren't likely to join in singing, the standing will be blocking the control room and the section is split. Would be daft IMO.

The demand would be greater than the Copland front I think but it'll be interesting to see the levels that put their name down

    I certainly will

Copland Front to start with then the dream scenario the whole Copland a la Dortmund

Good update, but I think we know there will be some push back from the older heads on this not willing to move seats when their area gets earmarked as the area.

It's simply about educating them that it is just a seat.

Would SS increase the stadium capacity, or does a standing person take up the same amount of space as a sitting person?

Great news, most agree the only place it can go in order to maximise its potential is the Copland front , and hopefully we hear shortly that's where it will be. Realistically in place for the season after next.

The people currently in Copland front are in a fabulous position getting to choose whether to stay and join SS, or relocate to another seated area. The rest of us can then scramble for the remaining tickets .

And finally ibrox can roar again .

Could an option be putting the cost of a season ticket in a standing section up for the first few years? Say 100 a ticket, 3,000 tickets, 900k over 3 years would go some way to the cost of installation?

After a few years the cost could go back to normal or allow a small reduction for those who had paid the inflated price for the 3 years?

The enclosure although not being visible on telly, you would certainly hear it.

It's the prime behind goals location rather than just a seat

I am in CF5 and am all for it. If it improves the atmosphere then we would be daft not to do it
