How are you going to educate them that it's just a seat?

Thus, we have the Copland Front, the traditional Rangers end, it would be perfect.

its here or not at all for me , enclosures wont work for the reasons stated previously

If Joe Bloggs hit out with "Am no moving", they're blinded by their own selfishness. It's that simple.
SS is imperative for the club going forward.

Would any movers get the first option on a standing ticket? Or are the reserved just for the UB

The east corner, and the closest sections of the Copland and Govan front either side would be a good starting point.

Although my preference would be to do it in the other corner and shift the away support including the filth to BF1, but we know that's not going to happen.

UB would be best placed in CF3, at the heart of it, this would encourage the whole of CF to be all bells and whistles for 90mins.

Obviously anyone who's sitting there currently has first priority whether to move or not, (That would go for the full section), but I think it'd be advised if you're not willing to make a song and dance, you're better moving, it's not going to be a standing library.

The timescales for this are not great. The statement says that there is no prospect of safe standing being in place prior to the start of 2018-19 season. Given that the work cannot take place during a season, then this means that we are looking at the start of 2019-20 season. at best.

I don't understand why all studies, consultation & planning cannot be done in the coming months. If it gets the green light, then get it in place for the start of next season. Ibrox desperately needs to have an improved atmosphere.

People in Copland rear should be allowed to swap with people in copland front so them who don't want to move from copland just have to sit a wee bit higher up.

Have to agree with this, anywhere other than the Copland Front, the traditional Rangers end and this should be an non-starter.

    No.

Those that want safe standing are blinded by their own selfishness, demanding that someone happy with their view for nearly 40 year should move.

Apparently the time and money need spend on more pressing stadium improvements.

It's a plastic seat, anyone who has an affinity with a plastic seat should seek therapy.

Timescales are always key but one of biggest is been given that we need Glasgow City Council to approve it since it them that issue us with our safety certificate, of course we need to submit our change of use plans 1st and that is our issue

Has to be the Copland Front – and it would be incredible if the Copland Rear was to follow at a later date.

Putting in rail seating still can increase capacity however safe standing is just that i.e 1 seat 1 person

Below is proposals by Southend and Plymouth to have rali seating

    Increased capacity

The standing capacity in Southend would be around 2,750, working on a ratio of 1.5 standing fans per seat space. In Plymouth, meanwhile, the hope is to achieve a ratio of almost 2:1, with each quadrant accommodating around 2,000 standing fans behind 1,000 rail seats.

No one is demanding they move, most agree that those already in the Copland Front should get first option on whether they want to stay and be part of the standing section. If not, then there would be another area of the stadium they could move to.

if families have 3-4 seats together will they be accommodated OR will they be relocated to singles seats wherever available?

No. Broomloan front after the Copland front and the Scum booted into the corner.

Here's a first. I actually agree with you on this.

Hypocrisy by those demanding SS and calling bears who might not want to move selfish.

Until all the assessments and fact finding is completed we will just have to wait. Some are not happy with timescales either but if it's being done let's do it right whilst trying to please as many bears as possible. No doubt some will be upset on both sides.

I have said previously on another thread that if the club want it to happen then it will and so be it.

Bollocks! It's for the greater good for everyone.

Close your eyes and imagine for a minute a blue wall similar to Dortmund's all bouncing and roaring us on throughout every game...
