Fancy Newcastle to get a win today should be a decent game.

Spurs to beat Norwich hopefully and get an important 3 points to stay in the hunt for top four finish

Norwich WILL sack Chris Hughton if they lose to Spurs and are eyeing Celtic's Neil Lennon

Chris Hughton will be sacked by Norwich if his side are beaten by Tottenham on Sunday.

The Canaries' board have run out of patience with their manager, who is described by sources close to the club as a ‘dead man walking’.

Norwich have been pursuing potential successors as they look to stave off the threat of relegation.

Sunday Mirror Sport ≠understands Celtic boss Neil Lennon is the outstanding choice, but he is unwilling to leave his beloved Celtic now as they close in on another SPL title.

Sacked Swansea manager Michael Laudrup is also an intriguing ≠possibility.

But other foreign options are being considered with agents asked to put forward candidates.

A run of just one win in 13 matches has left Hughton on the brink with defeats against relegation rivals Cardiff and West Ham this month particularly damaging.

Despite Hughton’s fine track record in his previous managerial jobs at Newcastle and Birmingham, there has been disquiet about the cautious tactics he has employed since arriving at Carrow Road 18 months ago.

But he was backed with significant transfer funds last summer and board members believe he should have led the Norfolk club clear of relegation
danger.

Norwich chief executive David McNally has publicly admitted that he has been looking at ≠potential ≠replacements.

And unless there is a positive result against Spurs, he will axe Hughton before next Sunday’s clash with Aston Villa.

Lennon is a favoured candidate. It is believed he would like the chance to prove himself in the Premier League – but Celtic would want hefty ≠compensation.

Shows what a nonsense the goalie/red card rule is....Szlezny sent of in midweek for making a legitimate attempt to make a save and bringing down Robben while Vorm clearly delibertely tried to clean out Sturrige - but luckily for himself completely missed - and gets way with it

That rule also puzzles me. You can be booked for taking your top off, or going up to the fans.

So if you do both, do you get sent off? I've never seen any example of that, but going by the rules it should happen.

And like you say, when a crowd of players go the fans, why are they not all booked?

I've seen much worse teams than Norwich this season.

Struggle to score many, but Hughton has them very well organised and they pass it reasonably well. They should be alright.

He was a poor signing, even Spurs fans have to accept that.

Lamela - dud.

Chadli - dud.

Very poor return for a huge outlay so far.

And they have to be better than Dawson at CB. Not good enough for where they think they should be.

They are the only side who can get 4th that aren't in the top 4.

6 points behind with 11 games to go isn't that big an ask.

Win at Anfield it's cut to 3, Spurs can get 4th but United haven't a hope in hell of it.

Both have big games coming up, don't think Liverpool are good enough for the title but at 4 points off top you can't rule them out.
