Live on TV on a Saturday evening and tickets on sale.

Whats the chances of this game being off due to international commitments?

Little, Shiels, Wallace, Macleod & Peralta could be called up.

BT have said they wont re-screen a rescheduled game.
With just over a week to the game and travel arrangements in place, it would be shocking if the club called this off.

It's got to go ahead now surely, too late in the day for call offs.

If rangers call it off now, then I won't be going back for a while.

we have a right to cancel the game if there are 3 players called up for international duty. The money we get for the game being on TV is nothing so why would we play with an under strength team against the team most likely to our main challengers.

I understood wanting to move the qots game as it was away in the cup to a team of a higher division but moving this match would be absurd.

I'll give one good reason. Cash flow.

Club takes a huge hit, especially on Hospitality sales for home games that are moved to midweek.

Plus, this is the only home game in the whole of October, so cash flow will be scant over the next 4-5 weeks with no match-day revenue.

It'll should, and will go ahead.

As our RSC would be travelling up from Yorkshire the evening KO isn't ideal anyway, so it depends when it's rescheduled to TBH. If it's midweek then that's not great either.

It's tight on anybody who's made travel arrangements for the match to change it this late

True. Do the national teams not normally announce their squads around about the same time though?

Surely we can ask the players not to play?

Those who choose their countrys over Rangers should be moved on in the summer. Especially in the case of Lee Wallace after being shunned

They should be given

10th Oct - Scotland U21 v Slovakia U21
11th Oct - Honduras v Costa Rica
11th Oct - Azerbaijan v Northern Ireland

14th Oct - Georgia U21 v Scotland U21
15th Oct - Scotland v Croatia
15th Oct - Jamaica v Honduras
15th Oct - Israel v Northern Ireland

Those are the games that currently affect us.

Player's choice if want to considered for Internationals

Had it been a friendly International period then I sure the clubs can request a non call-up but at the discretion of the International country

I thought players had to sit out the next two domestic games if they missed an international. Is that no longer the case?

Talk sense FFS, its not a case of "choosing their countrys over Rangers" has it ever occured to you that players might want to actually play for their countries - and that if Rangers didnt release them we would be in big trouble with FIFA for starters ?

Have tickets ordered, flights and hotel booked with no refund for 8 of us for a weekender. Having been initially pissed off at the kick off time change it will be a major dissappointment if there is no match on.

When we were limited as to how many trialists we could play, we were actually decent in the league. Since we have been able to select any of the players at our disposal we have been worse due to shoe horning people into the team regardless of their position, form or fitness, playing Dunfermline with a limited squad might actually work out better:confused:

We also entitled to have our strongest team. Over the next 7 days we will know our position on which players have ben called-up.

Easy to say we have quality but remember Dunfermline are full-time and regarded as the team that would be our closest challengers.

Under the stewardship of the current 'custodians', the club couldn't care less about any inconvenience to fans. No change there then.
