Herrera on bench
Usual head been turned approach from a manager
Would expect Utd to bid again

Real have looked unconvincing in La Liga so far.

I like Real Madrid but wanted Mourinho to fail miserably but Ancelotti is a good guy so I hope he wins La Liga.

He would then be a title winner in Italy, Spain, France & England.

Tough game for Madrid, haven't exactly been firing on all cylinders but winning. Bilbao are a decent side and will give Madrid a good run out. I still think Madrid will win.

Gerry Armstrong confirming on the commentary that Herrera has had head turned & united willing to offer £36 million

Goal by Isco - Madrid have really sprung to life in the last 10 mins with a few chances.

Isco is going to be a player for Madrid.

Agreed, looks a cracking player.

Stupid decision by the ref there. First of all it wasn't a hand ball at all - hit him under the arm. So, to give a freekick and a yellow card to Khedira is just a poor decision.

Whats happened to casillas?

Whats happened to casillas?

Diego Lopez is a better keeper.

Whats happened to casillas?

It just looks like Ancelotti has decided Diego Lopez hasn't done anything wrong to be dropped. I really thought Casillas would have been back in the team - they've kept him as club captain so it seems a little strange if he's not going to feature.

I think the referees have a big part to play in all the diving/feigning injury/fannying about in Spain, this ref is just giving a free kick every time some one goes down, it's no wonder the players do it

Seems weird watching Spanish football at this time of the day

2-0 Ronaldo

Great ball but the best player in the world should be picked up better than that. Still, great header.

Haha aye, although might be more inclined to stay on his feet if he's not gonna get to take every free kick/pen

I'd have been going Tonto at Ronaldo there. If he'd passed it was a certain goal.

Good win for Real Madrid - Bilbao are one of the better teams for this season.

Isco and Modric were brilliant today. Ronaldo looked off the boil but still managed a goal.

I can't believe ronaldo is 'unhappy'... Why?! What does he have to be unhappy about?!

I wasn't watching that closely but I'm sure the commentator said that the fans applauded every time Modric touched the ball. He had a slow start at Real but seems to be doing very well just now.

Cracking footballer. Didn't think he was good enough for Madrid but that shows how much I know!
