Just about to start.

Liverpool unchanged from Fulham win.

Stoke unbeaten at home since February, best defence so far this season.

Can't see Stoke losing this:(

Come on the Redmen!

There's a reason they're unbeaten at home.

Shouldnt have been given, the pulling was outside the box then Saurez threw himself down inside the box, a freekick if anything.

Never a pen. Foul started outside the box

So what?

The foul should be given wherever it's most advantageous for the attacking side.

Suarez tried to get by Shawcross who continued fouling him.

Bollocks. Clear as day.

He starting being pulled about 2/3 yards outside the box. Should have been a free kick.

It was a pen but down goes Suarez.

About time we got one.

Had several turned down all season.

On another note: Shawcross is a mong. 2 bookings in 3 minutes, stoke are wankers

Gerrard should be scoring there.

I think Suarez will be looking to leave for a big club in the summer.

Would he be able to handle the step up to an Everton or a Spurs?

Suarez is too good for Spurs and Everton as well. He could easily get a game for Chelsea or Arsenal if he wanted a bigger club

Pulis for the next Liverpool manager?

Does well against the big teams, handy against the wee teams like Liverpool. His team knows how to defend and win at home.

Pathetic from Redknapp there regarding going down.

It was a penalty but of course, Suarez, the little cheating bastard that he is, makes the most of it.

Just seen the stat that Lolerpool havent won a league game at Stoke since 1984, back when they used to be a big team.

Hoping they lose this afternoon. When they lose Brendan Rodgers always blames some weak penalty decision that didnt go their way, so today he'd have to think of a new excuse.

It should have been a freekick, but Suarez is smart* enough to wait until he's in the box before he goes down and claims for it.

Gotta love suarez. Pretty much standing on the goal line when Gerrard passes it. Blatantly offside. Gerrard plays it anyway.

Biggest mistake Gerrard ever made was not getting the hell out of there after winning the champs league.

Love em or loathe them, you can't knock Stoke for the amount of effort they put in for 90mins right across the park and how effective that makes them as a unit.

Watched Fulham lose there earlier this season and Martin Jol bemoaning Stoke's physical approach after the game, looked like a greater desire to win to me!

Its funny when Webb refs Liverpool games....he gives them absolutely nothing in terms of decisions, I was shocked he gave them the 1st min pen, ...I think he must have forgotten, momentarily, who was playing:eek:>:)

Liverpool have made all the running in this half but a 2 goal deficit is too much to recover from, the third just after half time was a killer.

Liverpool are trying their tits off but they don't have the aggression to deal with Stoke, they take too many touches and are 3 players away from being a good side.

In fairness to them though, Stoke should be down to 10 or even 9 men, Webb has been very lenient with Shawcross and one or two others.

Liverpool really need Daniel Sturridge and a good striker in the transfer window or they've got no chance of finishing in the top 8.

They need two better CB's, they need a striker and probably another CM as Gerrard is on the way out.

Unless Rogers is given c£50m in January, Liverpool will struggle for a Europa League spot.

Utterly embarrassing that a club like Liverpool are fighting for a Europa League finish these days.

25 points at the halfway stage, which is on pace for 50 points by the end of the season. That hasn't been enough to finish higher than 8th in any of the last 6 PL seasons.

They're still an ok team, midtable is their level. 3 quality players to replace the likes of Downing and Shelvey would make a big difference, although they would still find it hard to break into the top 6.
