Good to hear. The reason the last boycott failed is mainly down to supporters groups not acting swiftly.

Inb4 'RST do nothing blah blah' posts.

Good to hear.

This is what makes me cringe. Disparate statements. I hope the RST is representing all the other supporter associations.

Apart from that - great news. Cannot wait to read it.

The RST had a board meeting scheduled for tonight anyway. I'm sure it will be discussed and a statement released tonight.

The RST can only represent its members.

I would like to see a meeting of all the main supporter's associations plus the RFFF and a joint press conference with a single, unified call for a boycott.

Sensational news!

Somebody is going to make a press statement.

Forget me not

I want my RST to support a boycott

The poll on the facebook page overwhelmingly supports a boycott

Any other decision would be wrong

Mr_Aqua

I can't see them not supporting the boycott.

As a member of the RST I will be dancing exactly the same way if the statement is right.

Here's hoping it is.

It's all very well the RST calling for a boycott,if that's what they do?, but it's another thing making it succeed, there are a lot of fans who don't want to boycott!

From what i'm reading there's very few who do not want a boycott. The RST should be calling for a boycott.

It never ceases to amaze me that some of our fans can't see the wood for the trees. Only my opinion, but we must stand together and boycott our enemies.

For those self centred fans who will refuse a boycott, for just once, go along with the majority and join in, it won't kill you just for once to support your fellow fans.

Maybe this thread should be locked.

We can talk about the statement when the statement comes out.

Then we'll have something to talk about.

Why is it taking so long. Is this the problem with the trust?

They have a meeting tonight apparently.

It will be discussed.

The game isn't until February.

The statement will be out in due course.

The club cannot come out and say its refusing tickets as that will surely void our share of the gate money due from Dundee Hiv's.

The perfect scenario would be take 1 ticket lol

So would I , and a request for all the fans to sign the e petition.

Yes, it can.

Charles Green can say that after consultations with fan groups, the club won't be requesting or handling tickets.

Isn't that how it works now?

The thing about a democratic group is that the representatives actually have to get together. The draw was only a few hours ago , the match is not being played tonight and no effing tickets go on sale for a while.

Why would it void our share? Those are the rules and there is no minimum fan attendance. We don't quibble when 50 Arabs turn up at Ibrox.

I like your thinking and then we can hire the chick from Elgin who was caught busting some moves on her own.
