We are the 12th man just now.

We're the reason the club can survive.

If what happened to us was to inflict itself on any other club in scotland they would die.

We have all rallied round and shown our loyalty. In the dark times of the early 80's under greig and big jock the attendances were poor.

But when the club needed us most, we rallied round and stood up and supported the club along the long road to recovery.

I think in time, decades from now, a statue in tribute to our fans loyalty will probably stand outside the stadium.

We are the people!

There's not a team like the glasgow rangers!

We are the best supporters in the world.

So often that statement is a cliche but in our case it's true.

There's not a club in World Football who can match the numbers we take to games.

200,000 fans in Manchester for our last European Final.
The thousands we took to Villareal in the last 16 of the Champions League.
The thousands we took to Munich, Barcelona in Champions League away games.
No other club in World Football would regularly get crowds of 40,000-50,000 for League games in the lowest Division in their Country.

We are the best supporters in the world.

This is a truly remarkable achievement and this along with the other record that we'll break tomorrow.
We'll have had a larger attendance in our last for home games than the entire attendance figures in the whole of SFL 3 in the last two years.
Incredible!

On holiday recently on the Greek island of Kos, my wife and I were browsing restaurants for somewhere to eat that night and I got talking to one of the Greek waiters.

The usual opening gambit of "where do you come from?" was followed by "which team do you support" after I had told him that I was a Scot. My usual reply of " there's only one team in Scotland, the famous Glasgow Rangers." was met with " but they are in big trouble just now are they not?"

I did my best to explain the happenings of the last year, and this was met by disbelief that we could have been treated the way we were. It would never have happened in Greece he said.

When I told him that we had set a new world record for the attendance at a fourth tier football match of almost 50,000. His simple, unsurprised reply made me proud to be a Rangers supporter. He said " of course, after all you are still Rangers"

There have been many incidents since we went into admin that I have felt so proud. (march to Hampden/first game of the season/motherwell game). We're all totally mental. Everything we've been through should point to the crowds dwindling, the support drifting away as we become a fallen giant, dwindling in the lower leagues or at best getting to the SPL and mid-table mediocrity.

Except we're not (obviously). Something about this club strikes a chord with each and every one of us, and I think it's a total blessing that the history is there. Without it, I think there'd be less inclination to think 'we must get back to where we were'. More people would be 'We did nothing before, what's the difference now?'

Very proud of the support and the way it's rallied around the club.
