What happened with this guy ? Surely he would have been one of the rare players who stayed, was decent when he had the chance.

He didn't "bail"

He turned up for pre-season training despite being out of contract, was then offered a trial with Charlton who subsequently signed him

I thought he was a decent SPL standard player

Shame. Although if he had stayed I suspect we wouldnt have gone for Templeton

Overrated player who for some reason achieved near cult status. Done practically zilch of note whilst here.

Really was a average player made of glass with no class.

Wish he was in the squad this weekend to be honest, not a great player but he was very direct and I think he would have been effective at this level.

He made a daft move IMHO and will live to regret it, Ally clearly fancied him even in the SPL so I don't doubt he would have seen plenty of game time.

Over rated on here for some reason, he was pish

He went from a joke player to hero for some bizarre reason.

But at least he was left footed and would have given the team some balance

Could still be doing a job for us and i think he would have progressed i think he would have caused problems for teams in this league and would have done well for us good luck to him and he didn't just jump ship like some of the supposed Rangers men.

He was awful for us. I never understood the cult status he achieved.

I think the cult hero status thing was a piss take. Much like shebooooooooo!

Although we certainly should never be laughing at a Rangers player.

He was fantastic for 10 minutes against Arbroath.

He was out of contract and we were not in a position to offer him a new one due to the SPhell/SFA drawing the whole mess out.

He was offered a trial, and subsequently a contract at Charlton. He goes with my best wishes.

No offence to the lad, but he'd be getting kicked up and down in Div 3.

Cant blame the guy for going and getting a contract elsewhere when nothing was on the table here

Ridiculous and a sad endidement of how things are if we think he is anything other than ordinary

Bailed like the rest when Div 3 was evident....

He actually showed up on the first day of training despite being out of contract. He wasn't offered a deal and ended up trying his luck with Charlton who signed him. Can't really fault the guy, can't expect him to just stick around waiting for the club to make a decision.

warming the bench at charlton cant get a game

He's started the last 4 games for Charlton and actually set up a few goals. He's a decent player but he never really managed to cement his place in the Rangers squad for whatever reason.
