According to the commentator! Really?? 3 cups and only won 1 of them or as i like to call it the consolation cup, wouldn't call it successful my self.

I'm happy with this. If they think finishing 2nd to us is a successful season then long may it contiinue.

Well if they think that the scum have had a successful season then ours must be off the scale of success then! :)

Let them celebrate and embrace mediocrity.

The record books will show which team is the most successful.

After the game some plonker on the radio said " When cellick scored their second, with Mark Wilson's deflected shot off Steven Craigen, it was clinical finishing"???

He's right, IF Rangers hadn't have won the Double, Celtc would have probably won the Treble :p

Roll up, roll up all you mhedia lackeys and remember everything in Celtic world is great.

They build them up so much is it any wonder all hell breaks loose when they lose.

Not a bad record

Two 2nd places, a cup win and stuffed in Europe - but that doesn't count.

If they have been successful what kind of season have we had ?

It was clinical finishing on Craigans part though, deft little flick off the toe into the corner.

He'll sleep well tonight.

Now its a record Celtics 35th Scottish Cup win (Katrina Renton BBC Scotland News) strange we have not heard that last week Rangers broke another world record with their 54th League Title.

To be fair:

1st in Scottish Cup
2nd in SPL
2nd n CIS Cup
2nd in CL tie against Utrecht
3rd in Europa League Group

Thats quite a season for a club who hadn't won anything in almost 2 1/2 years. ;)

They didn't get to Europa League group stage. Knocked out by Braga in CL and by Utrecht in EL qualifiers

So even more pisher! :D

Two cups in three season's, I can live with that, but I think we should have had Two Trebles in a Row. But then again, I am a very very greedy Bear .

:) :):):):) Four out of Six :p

To be fair, from their point of view its been an improved season. They got to two cup finals and lost won one of them (lost the CIS to us obviously :D) and took the league to the last day (again we won this :)).

Considering their last season, they have improved. I think improved is the right word, but not success as ultimately 1 cup without a decent run in europe is not something they would want next season.

But like a previous poster said, if they define success as finishing 2nd in the league then I hope they are successful every season :)

Oops, my mistake, so they actually finished 2nd in their Europa League tie. I see why they just can't get enough.
