Fight! Fight! Fight! AC Milan skipper Gennaro Gattuso marcxhes over to the sideline where he shakes hands with Harry Redknapp, then lunges for Joe Jordan. With Jordan showing no sign of backing down, the two men snarl at each other before Gattuso puts the skills he learned in Scotland as a Rangers player into service by trying to stick the nut on Jordan before being dragged away.

Barry Glendenning getting the dig in nice and early.

Just lifted this from wikipedia, seems someone has been quick off the mark

After an impressive spell at Bristol City which saw the club reach the semi-finals of the League cup, Jordan returned to Scotland afterwards to coach Hearts. He then worked for a time at Celtic, before returning for a second spell in charge of Bristol City, and from there Huddersfield Town and Stoke City. From December 2000 until May 2002, he was assistant to his former Manchester United team-mate Lou Macari at Huddersfield Town.
Jordan was part of Harry Redknapp's backroom team at Portsmouth and continued to coach the team under the management of Velimir Zajec and Alain Perrin. He took over as caretaker manager for two games in November 2005 after Perrin's departure, before Redknapp returned after resigning from Southampton. Jordan left Portsmouth on 7 November 2008 following Redknapp's departure to become manager of Tottenham Hotspur. Jordan followed Redknapp to the club, signing on November 8, 2008.[4]
He was headbutted like a bitch by Gattuso on 15 February 2011.

AC Milan were utter shite tonight, and Gatusso was embarrassing. He offered little to the game, other than fouling players and attempting to wind them up. No class and no dignity.

If that was an ex-sellik player doing it, he'd be on the end of a torrent of abuse. But because he played for Rangers for a bit (not particularly well) some want to excuse him.

Imnot disputing who is a hardman or not, what souness said was bull shit sayig he was a little dog, Rino might not be as good as he once was but he was a top player in his prime.

Souness was a stupid **** on the park aswell have you seen what happened in his debut for us against Hibs and that tackle that near enough took the guy balls of against Stuea iirc

Rino could barely lace Souness' boots IMHO, and tonight acted like a childish wee **** lets be honest.

lets have our central midfielders been bullied , that sound better? you slaughter souness, hurlock, bomber brown etc when they put themself about?

****ing behave yourself and don't compare Gattuso to genuine Rangers hardmen.

What Gattuso did tonight was the exact opposite of "put himself about". In the key phases of the game he allowed his entire midfield to be bitch slapped by Palacios and then ran around like a wee lassie that's just been ditched by text because he knew he wasn't up to it.

Hilarious.

I make it six times Gattuso has played against Celtic in Europe.

Not once has this so called hard man dished out any sort of shit to that mob on the park.

maybe he never had to dish it out? you dont have to dish it out just for the sake of it, was he provoked into anyting in those games?

The game, did you see the game?

That was my question.

I don't really see how it is relevant. I wasn't discussing his general behaviour/attitude over the course of the night, I was discussing the headbutt incident which is in the GIF in the first post. But since you are wondering, no I didn't see the game I had my own football training.

Take off the blue tinted spec's for one minute FFS.

I like Gattuso, and will alway's want him to do well wherever he goes. Tonight however, what he done was out of order, not just the headbutt but throughout the 90 minute's he was sloppy and petulent.

It doesn't make you any less of a Rangers fan to admit that, don't worry.

I loved it mate tbh. I'd love nothing more for a Rangers player to take one for the team and put that c*nt Lennon on his arse.

That's just me, I'm sure others would be more happy with a handshake.

I was gobsmacked we got near £4m for him.

For some strange reason I thought it was £2.8m. I thought Milan bought him from Salernitana for £4m. Must be my old age playing tricks with my memory.

Gattuso, unlike others has been nothing but complimentary about us since leaving, said he's kept a bit of the Rangers with him everywhere he's went, I respect him for that and I'm not going to lose that respect over Joe f*ckng Jordan.
So it's ok because Jordan's a tim? Would it have been ok if it was somebody else?
When his team's on the back foot, instead of taking responsibility and trying to drag his team back into the game, he's stomped around like a kid needing their Ritalin and topped it off by wading into a free bus pass holder.
He's made a howling Gareth Hunt of himself and I can't see how it could be seen any other way just because of who Jordan supports

Souness, Brown, Hurlock? Hurlock would have laughed at Gattuso's act and then marched all over the top of him.

At the time Ferguson and Gio were better footballers

He was never going to get played in his position granted, but we all know he turned out a better and more successfull central midfielder by a mile than Gio and Ferguson.

So good business when a year later he was sold for nearly 9 million and was at one point recognised as one of the best in europe in his position was a mistake.

What a cop out, because people don't agree with you.

He was bang out of order. His stupid yellow card means he is out of the next game, aye that is great for your team. Then his headbutt has probably cost him any more games in the CL in his career.

Don't for one minute think you are one but if you have a look above I'm sure you'll find a few who you would regard 'suspicious'

Just because he signed for Milan that didn't make him a better player than Gio or Ferguson overnight

By a mile of van Bronckhorst ? You sure ?

This the same Gio who won 5 leagues in three different countries, 9 cups in four different countries, a Champions League medal, played in 5 major international tournaments, earned 106 caps and captained his country to a World Cup final at the age of 35 ?

Gattuso is a mile ahead of that ? Really ?

That's just baffling, on so many levels. That player would get banned, probably face criminal charges, we'd get a fine and our name would be tarnished massively.

And you're complaining about other people not being Rangers fans?
