I suspect Saturday's impressive performance might add a bit to the gate. I reckon we'll get around 37,000.

Just above 30,000. I wont be there, just cant justify the cash for a game thats on tv.

I'll be there. Hoping a lot of folk will decide to go last minute but I can't see it. With so many games coming up I can't really blame folk.

looks like we've sold around 20,000 tickets thus far. So unless there is a late surge - then its going to be dissapointing.

We had pretty much a full house against Panathinaikos at this stage two years ago, and if I recall correctly, the ticket prices for that game weren't much, if any, different to the ticket prices for the Sporting game:confused:

I just hope that people who haven't got briefs get them before Thursday.

Almost every European game their is 00's standing waiting in a que and they miss the first half.

I think a crowd of 38k would be decent considering its been an expensive few months following the Rangers with another 3 games against the tims to come.

I'm hoping there's a decent turnout and a great atmosphere. Taking my pal's boy to his 1st Euro game - want him to experience a cauldron of noise.

that's what I'm thinking mate.

I will be very surprised if there are more than 30k. I thinjk it'll definitely be below 30k.

Poor show by the bears. Tickets are in line with normal SPL prices. Prices are more than reasonable for a European game.

Get aff yer erses and get to the game bears. Our team needs you !!

probably wasnt as many cup replays and other tickets coming off at the same time right enough? Hard to justify the money when the games on TV

About 28,000...they should make it 'pay at gate' and sell tickets up until kick off.

Is it tradition to have these threads prior to a home european game now?

As per usual, come Thurs night we will get a decent crowd and (hopefully) a good atmosphere.

Ill be making my usual 150 mile round trip journey.

C'mon the Bears!

I am thinking between 20 and 30 thousand, although with the few recent signings and good result at weekend i am hopeful that many will make last minute decisions to go.

Would hope for 35-40k plus after the peformance on Saturday but at 27 for an adult i think we will get around 30k, unfortunately.

It should be a full house considering most of us dont have a game to go to this weekend,i'll say 40.

I think it will be <40k.

This has probably been one of the most expensive seasons in living memory with more Bears out of jobs than at any time i can remember.

On top of the season tickets there has been 3 extra OF games, Champions League package and now a UEFA game.

I understand why a lot of people won't go.

I know mate, the money we're expected to pay out now is shocking for the state
the country is in,its time football came back down to earth and they'll need to sometime in the near future, the crowds will dwindle in the next few years if they dont address this now.

Bit off topic I know, I was watching a clip on youtube which featured some games against Steaua Bucharest and Grasshoppers Zurich from the mid 90s and there were big gaps in the crowd, was this down to pricing of the tickets?

BF3, BF4 and BF5 look almost sold out so should be a good atmosphere coming from that section. People will have bought tickets for there to have a sing song.

rambo77
16-02-2011, 10:03
definitley under 30k, looking at sales on-line :(

That is terrible IMO !!!

Players need all the support they can get at the moment - yet many bears are just not turning up :(

No-one can really complain about the price for this game - they're pretty much the same for a game against St Mirren in the SPHell FFS !!!

A full rocking Ibrox used to be an advantage to our team - now with about 26k rattling around on Thursday with little or no atmos, we hand the initiative to the opposition. That is dreadful.

A player like Diouf or Bartley has probably been told of the 'special' Eurpoean nights at Ibrox. Whn they step out on Thurday and see less than 30,000 fans in the stadium and thousands of empty seats they'll wonder what all the fuss was about.
