In both bars the main LCD tv is 61", and there are several 42" dotted around.

They don't over sell it by any means, last time I was there it was more than comfortable. There are plenty bar stools, but as you can imagine, come game time they don't get much use.

Not sure about your question on kids, but I don't think so.

I used to have a Bar 72 season ticket, great bar and you can sing and atmosphere was generally good, i think the kids had to be over 14 but thats maybe just for home matches.

plenty of tv's around and bookies there as well.

If i wasnt based in NI i would defo go.

As I said before mate, it's really good.

An air conditioned bar, good size telly's and surrounded with Bears only.

And singing? You bet your bollocks, with no enforced 'restrictions' ;)

Coulter612
12-01-2011, 20:39
Might give this a go. Only thing I've been worried about in the past is the possibility of a lack of atmosphere or any restrictions on what can/can't be said.

A few of us went for the McCulloch 1-1 game last season, really enjoyed it. Like-minded company, singing not frowned upon, decent food & drink. Plus it helps that it is a 'bar' rather than just a function room with a few tellys. Would definitely recommend it :)

Good Work MFDM, that's a very good deal and if people get behind it and fill the place up we mnay be able to exert more influence and bring other things into play,....player appearance, raffle for charity etc
Imagine what we could achieve if we had 50,000 MFDM's at every game :)

Been to several screenings in Bar 72 , think they do it rather well . The £12 deal with hot nosh , pint and HT pies was decent .

For a fiver with pie+ pint , a winning deal all round .

The initial queue for drink can be a pisser , beyond that it is a fine day out .

Don’t get too excited, we got two tickets for bar 72 for Man u game at old Trafford, showed up at Ibrox and told they cancelled it and it had nothing to do with Rangers but Azure catering. Wee update guys regarding this Sunday............

Just phoned and booked 4 there, was told both bars will be open on Sunday as over 200 have now been sold.

Certainly a great deal for bears without tickets, you're getting a pint included in the price and a great environment to watch the game. And last couple of times I was there, certainly no restrictions on the song sheet ;)

Would recommend those undecided get booked up fast and see ye there :)

Should also add, they will happily accept your cash if you turn up at the azure offices in Copland House if you don't have means to pay over the phone.

Bar the Game and result, it was quite good and I would definitely consider going back. Disappointed by Quality of food (Chicken curry or curry and chips not great), plastic glasses and the fact they tried to chuck us out at 15:45. £5 for admission, pie and pint was great value.

I enjoyed it, one members in our party doesn't drink alcohol so was a bit annoyed they would not give him a soft drink free instead.

Foods decent and loads tvs- would go again

How much for a pint?

£2.80 a pint or £11 for a 4 pint pitcher.

It would definitely be my place of choice to watch away games from now on especially the Celtc ones.

I thought it was good in there, no Neds, good atmosphere, plenty of screens, also served at the bar without any delay, I would certainly go back ;)

Yeah I enjoyed it, good crowd and quick bar service. Some more seats would have been good tho!

went for the first time and enjoyed it other than the result. Atmosphere could maybe have been a bit better but think that was due to the score :(
