A riot during and after the OF league match on Ne'erday 1902. (Guess who won?)

The part played by Maley's comments regards the 1909 'Hampden Riot' final and the majority of his players malingering on the pitch at the end of the replay.

Maley trying to sell star man McGrory behind his back AFTER a trip to Varoukasville in the 1920s.

Maley refusing to pay McGrory as much as the other players in a fit of spite thereafter.

Maley's poison at the Thomson/English FAI in October 1931.

The cesspit being shut down after a 'riot' by their fans at Ibrox in September 1941 (partly because of their pro Irish sentiment and Ireland being a pro Nazi state at the time)

The yahoos blaming the ref (what's new?) for yet another OF defeat in June 1946 and a crazed yahoo running onto the park with a bottle trying to 'glass' the unfortunate official.

A 'bottle party' at Ibrox on Ne'erday 1949

A 'bottle party' at Ibrox after the Cox/Tully incident later that year.

A 'bottle party' at the cesspit on Ne'erday 1952 and the SFA very nearly grew a backbone (at Hibs' behest) in taking them on. I did say, very nearly, and shamefully our own Chairman Baillie Wilson helped them out.

They wrecked Middlesborough at the end of the 50s' (1959 I think) after a seven goal drubbing.

Telling 'Ba Face' he had to leave the cesspit on account of his religion circa the same period.

Two men (Paddy Crerand and Mike Jackson) sent off in a five-a-sides match circa 61/62.

The Ibrox riot of 1962 after St Mirren 'gubbed' them in the Scottish Cup semi final. Even old man Robert (the bigot) Kelly had no option but to concede the tie.

TGFITW displays of May 15th 1963 and October 24th 1964, both at Hampden, when the hoopy hordes flocked out in their tens of thousands rather than support their team.

A riot down in Liverpool in 1966 after they were put out of the ECWC. To this day they still tell lies about a disallowed goal that was nothing of the sort.

They got lucky for awhile.

Ba Face admitting on a TV documentary in 1972 that Kelly told hm to leave the cesspit for managerial reasons on account of his religion.

McBungle holding up 8 digits to the sellik end after the Centenary Cup final defeat. The worst losers in the world at your service.

Booing and jeering the minute's silence for Bobby McKean in March 1978.

Wanting to make Ba Face a Pools Agent, in spite of all he had achieved for them ON ACCOUNT OF HIS RELIGION in the same year.

Telling 'King Kenny' he was an orange bastard at a testimonial for ba face, also in the same year.

Rioting in Burnley in 1978 after an Anglo-Scottish Cup defeat. Even McBungle is quoted as calling them 'scum' afterwards.

Causing the 1980 Hampden Riot because they are the worst winners in sport. The captain from seven years previously is now the captain. Is this a coincidence?

Filling the cesspit with songs of glee because of the death of a Protestant Minister, Robert Bradford, in November 1981.

Allowing a Provie Band to play at a friendly down in Ipswich in 1982.

1984 - Nah, it's more like animal farm against Rapid Vienna and the provie band are allowed to promote their hatred and bile once again at Old Trafford.

1986 - English captains of Rangers and family are fair game for the craicskaters in restaurants.

1987 - Ex Celtic manager goes to a Clydebank car park. The rest is history.

Battering an ex hero's old man. Punters being stopped from attending an Old Firm game at the cesspit because of their hatred, aforementioned ex hero sent numerous death threats from the self styled GFITW and all for signing for Rangers, in 1989.

Whistling and jeering all through the minute's silence for the 20th anniversary of the Ibrox Disaster.

Death threats to a high profile member of one of the 'Families'.
(The rest till they are gone is fecking funny)

Being banned from an OF game because of wanton, deliberate and persistent scummery.

Mangement trying to defend and justify said wanton, deliberate and persistent scummery.

Hugh Dallas - March 1997 Malky MacKay, Di Cannio, unfettered hatred; say no more.

Hugh Dallas - May 1999 Coins, pie queue divers, smashed windows; say no more.

Fan mocking 9/11
A wreath laid by the Rangers party to New York vandalised by yahoos

And so it goes on.

It shouldn't need me to bring you up to date with the goings on of the last five years.

It simply remains for me to say that Celtic FC were, are and always will be the biggest single sporting and social CANCER in Scottish society.
And in the early 60's a Labour MP,Hugh Delargy called for the liquidation of Celtic football club after numerous people were slashed with broken bottles by Yahoos in town for a match at Dens Park.

Abuse of British Army troops by various Celtic supporters on motorways

Celtic fans wearing balaclavas at Celtic Park in honour of 'Ireland's Heroes'

In addition to the general thuggery, the following instances of thieving (from their own I may add) have all happened in the last year

-Buckie drinking Shellik strip wearing neds stealing strips from Jinky's graveside
-A Shellik barman arrested over theft from Jinky's tribute slap bang outside Shellik Park
-Another Shellik employee arrested over theft of players' strips and the attempted re-set in the Vogue Bar in Rutherglan
- A Shellik minded poster ripping off her fellow fans by missapropriating charity funds collected for Jinky's Motor-neurone charity

Didn't the scummy bassas not also desecrate Davie Coopers memorial statue and also the memorial for the Ibrox Disaster outside Ibrox?

Celtic Park closed during WW2 because the proto TGFITW were chanting pro Germany and Nazi slogans

This article from the PDF file thats going about says it all really, there was a cover up from the top down at Celtic Park:

Cover Up

Celtic
's former board were part of an astonishing cover-up over abuse allegations against Frank Cairney.
They agreed a shameful deal that allowed the boys' club boss to avoid a police probe.
Today FOUR former Celtic Boys' Club officials break their silence about the scandal on a trip to America.
The Record can reveal:
Cairney was told police wouldn't be called if he quit the club immediately.

Celtic
chairman Jack McGinn allowed Cairney's written resignation to say it was for `business reasons'.
The boy's parents were also sworn to secrecy.
But now we can reveal the truth behind the pact struck with Cairney at an airport cafe in Boston five years ago.
Former boys' club chairman Jim McNally, who was on the trip, said: "Any cover-up was not at our level.
"The other officials and myself have come forward because we have acted in good faith throughout.
"It has been painful and taken a great toll on all of our lives. But we want the truth to come out and we're prepared to stand up and be
counted."

They all knew. McNeil stated in court, under oath, that it was an open secret inside the piggery. So as if it wasn't bad enough that Stein knew what was happening and never informed the authorities, only going as far as throwing Torbett out the door, everyone else inside the club knew too, and once again did nothing.

To think, there must've been people inside the club - officials, coaching staff and even players - who will have been dealing with Torbett in some form or another, all the while knowing what he was doing to young boys, and STILL they did nothing. For me there should've been dozens of people at celtic charged as accessories to his crimes as they knew what was going on and never informed the police

Some club eh?
* Formed to ensure religious separation among the poor immigrant population.
* Its longest serving manager hinting the death of his goalkeeper wasn't an accident, when even the keeper's family had acknowledged it was.
* Threatened with closure during WW2 for their fans open support of Nazi Germany.
* Open support for terrorism and child murderers, both from the fans AND the people running the club
* Allowing a republican folk band to film a pro IRA music video INSIDE the piggery, with full access to all areas including the pitch itself
* The sectarian murders of Rangers fans, shown in official police figures to be more frequent than their celtic counterparts, covered up by a complicit mhedia
* The riots of their fans at home and all over Europe (including having a passenger jet DIVERTED) and having the most fans arrested at any one European tie.
* The cover up of 2 players caught on video taking part in a provofest at a celtic function, with at least one of them clearly chanting 'Sinn Fein' and 'IRA'.
* The club, through an officially recognised, approved and funded fans group, hiring a convicted IRA terrorist to paint the Jock Stein banner.
* The worst case of racist abuse ever seen at a sporting event on Mark Walters' debut at the piggery on 2nd January 1988.
* A photographer for the club's official publication caught with hundreds of child porn photographs in his locker at the piggery.
* The many cases of Referees and other match officials (and their families) attacked, threatened and abused by celtic fans because of decisions given against their team.
* Their past captain caught on live tv shouting sectarian obscenities to Rangers fans and officials.
* Their then manager witnessed shouting the same sectarian obscenities to Rangers fans that same day.
* One of their former players (who also played for us) having to decline an invitation to take part for both sides (a half each) in a charity match because of fears for his safety due to threats from celtic fans.
* And, of course, the systematic sex abuse of children in their care and (what was worse imho) the systematic cover up of said sex abuse over a period of decades.

If their is a more tainted, more shameful (no, shameLESS) more bigoted and more evil club on the face of the earth then i've yet to see it.

Following the untimely death of Garry Lynch a sickening ten page thread of abuse was allowed to remain on one of their fans websites and shameful content posted on You Tube.

IRA song book in Manchester, various broken seats and numerous incidents involving violence, the most shameful saw a young kid hit on the head with half a brick and required hospital treatment. More included service station attacks on innocent people.

Police are appealing for information after an ambulance had a window smashed as it was being driven in Banknock.
The incident occurred around 3.25pm on Sunday August 9.
Chief Inspector Bob Beaton said: “This was a despicable crime and we are keen to speak to anyone with information.
“The incident occurred as the ambulance travelled along Hollandbush Crescent near to the junction with Ballinkeir Avenue.
“It was forced to stop as a man, who was bare chested, crossed the road in front of them. When they stopped, a window in the rear of the ambulance was smashed.
“A group of men were seen near to the junction and we are keen to trace them.”
Police are keen to trace four men seen in the area at the time.
The man who crossed the road and force the ambulance to stop is described as 5’7 – 5’8, late 20s-early 30s.
A second man was described as wearing a light blue jumper, balding with dark hair at the side, wearing a Celtic top beneath a jersey, jeans and believed to be in his early 30s.
A third man had blond hair and was wearing a Celtic top with jeans.
The fourth man was described as 5’8”, brown hair, a tattoo on the back of his neck, and was wearing a green coloured jumper and jeans

A CELTIC fan has been sentenced to four years in jail by a Spanish court for two drink-fuelled Champions League attacks.
The teenage Hoops supporter battered two men with beer jugs ahead of a match against Barcelona.
The 19-year-old - known only as John D - appeared in court last week after spending more than four months behind bars.
Now he is set to be sent back home to Glasgow to serve the rest of his prison term.
A court heard how the thug assaulted a drinker and a bar owner on March 3 - hours before the clash at the Nou Camp.
He had been drinking with his dad and eight fellow fans in a pub in the town of Sabadell - 15 miles from Barcelona.
In a bar called Sinfo, he grabbed a half-litre beer jug and smashed it across the head of a local man. He then crashed a second glass over the head of the stunned bar owner, who had attempted to break up the fight.
Both victims required stitches in hospital - and the fan was quickly arrested.
He was later identified by three witnesses and has been held in Can Brians jail since then.
Last week, the teenager was jailed for four years for the attacks.
It emerged his family had paid 2300 in compensation to the victims, which helped to reduce his sentence.
A court source said: "The expectation is that in the short term, he will be placed in a prison in Scotland."

Refusal to enter Falkirk’s ground due to silence and some who did were less than quiet.

Shameful disruption of silence for Gerry Neef at Ibrox on 28 Fed 2010, where all sorts of obscenities were shouted. Also Argentina strips and banners appeared to goad war hero Simon Weston and as Edu was coming on one Tim was spotted doing the old aeroplane gesture that Reyna was subjected to after 9/11.

IRA banners at Fenway Park, Boston.

A CELTIC fan was hit by a flare as she watched the Hoops play Lincoln City in a pre-season friendly. The incident was one of several flashpoints during and after the match, which resulted in 20 arrests. Two Scots fans, Stuart Stanley, 32, of Uddingston, Lanarkshire, and Ada m Pollock, 24, of Pollok, Glasgow, were held in custody over the weekend. They were charged with fighting in the street and freed on bail yesterday. Both will appear at Lincoln magistrates court on August 17.Five fans, including the girl, were injured as a result of the violence. All went to hospital but were released after treatment.Local police said a St George's flag was set on fire outside the Golden Cross pub before the match and tensions were heightened by pro-IRA chants.A smoke grenade was set off. After the game, which Celtic won 4-1, there were a number of fights involving rival fans.Of the 20 arrests, 12 were locals and eight were visiting supporters.More than 1000 Celtic fans travelled south for the match at the Sincil Bank Stadium on Saturday.Football intelligence officer PC Andy Pearson said: "There was some disorder at the Golden Cross pub and some after the match."A lot of that came from the inflammatory nature of the songs from Celtic fans. Many of the incidents were fuelled by alcohol."We will be seeking banning orders for those arrested."Before the match, police had to deal with a fight between two Celtic supporters in the city and a separate brawl in the away end of the ground.During the game, a number of flares and smoke canisters were set off in the stadium. There were further problems outside the Golden Cross where five of the arrests were made.Af terwards officers were called to several fights on the lower end of the High Street where rival supporters clashed.Lincoln City, who are in England's League Two, are managed by ex-Celtic striker Chris Sutton.

October 2010 – after correctly over ruling referee Dougie McDonald’s penalty award after the Dundee United keeper clearly played the ball in a match v Celtic, media furore and Celtic’s paranoia following this was rife. The call was 100% correct. Less than a week later Stevie Craven resigns in mysterious circumstances stating family reason! Draw your own conclusions but was he fearful for the safety of his loved ones? Are officials not allowed to make correct calls against Celtic and does intimidation work? The SFA / SPL are on a slippery slope here and the game could easily turn to farce with officials frightened to officiate. This lead to weeks of conspiracy claims and Billy “open secret” McNeill claimed Celtic had been cheated for decades including during Celtic’s most successful period in their history and the media gave credence to such garbage. Lennon clearly seen calling McDonald a f**king cheat. The refs then strike, I wonder why?

The referees strike for the first time in history and foreign whistlers are flown in. Can you guess who caused the strike?

November 2010 – Celtic fans display a miss-spelled banner at Celtic Park proclaiming “no bloo(d)stained poppies on our hoops” to widespread condemnation. The banner was disgraceful and so was the time taken to report on it by the Scottish media. As the week progressed, condemnation grew and Celtic was forced to offer an apology of sorts and claim they would ban the guilty parties. The lighter, coin and mobile phone throwers never got banned so will this shower of low lifes?

The same week as that banner, Celtic lost at Tynecastle, Lennon mouths yet more abuse at officials and fans go on the rampage inside the stand, raiding food kiosks and stealing the tills until police intervene. Several seats were also damaged but don’t expect to read much about this in the Scottish media.

2012 has started in a similar way for the world’s greatest fans – from a group of them being outed for wanting a terror campaign similar to that waged by the IRA in Ireland to kick off is Scotland to a green brigade member and chef at Murray Park, Jamie McGinness being photographed at IRA murals and for him to plaster over face book, to some of them defacing the John Greig Statue with St Pauli stickers – the statue exists to remember those souls that lost their lives in the Ibrox disasters – have they no shame? To cap it all Celtic fan Michael Convery was arrested for racial abuse and threats to Mo Edu and Kyle Bartley on Twitter. TGFITW? You bet and all this around about the same time a 16 year old boy was attacked on a train for asking people to stop singing sectarian songs, the men got off at Barrhead and bolted and were described as having a grey striped football top with green sleeves and another wearing a green and white football top. Why are the media afraid to say Celtic tops?? The youth required hospital treatment following his attack and a bottle was also thrown and smashed on the carriage of the train.

Not for the first time since soldiers shot and killed in Belfast after believing they were receiving a pizza delivery, Celtic fans have been photographed with Pizza boxes mocking the cowardly and vile event.

Early Feb 2012 Police appeal for witnesses after a Celtic fan was stabbed in the Celtic end of the Caledonian Stadium in Inverness. The victim required stitches to a wound in his face.

During the match at Tynecastle on Feb 8 2012, a match where the new legislation was ignored by law enforcers who allowed IRA songs and other offensive chants to be belted out from the Celtic end of the ground, it has been reported that a ball boy of 13 years of age required hospital treatment after being struck by a coin thrown by one of the visiting fans. Will this group never be punished for their vile chants and long history of throwing missiles at players, refs, ball boys and anyone that they feel like?

Celtic / Peter Lawwell renege on an agreement to pay Rangers in advance for the Parkhead club’s visit to Ibrox, this after Rangers went in to administration, one can speculate that this was done to harm Rangers who urgently require the cash. Around the same time Lennon and Lawwell have cheap, classless pops at Rangers in the media regarding their financial woes.

Following defeat in league cup final by Kilmarnock, Scott Brown threw away his loser’s medal and the entire Celtic team showed Kilmarnock a lack of respect after the game. Neil Lennon also accused referee Willie Collum of cheating and his decision “criminal” when he refused Celtic a penalty and booked Stokes for diving and claimed the ref had robbed them of a treble despite the fact that they still have a Scottish cup semi final to contest. Classless clown that he is.

The week after Celtic’s dismal display at Hampden v Kilmarnock, they are humbled by cash strapped Rangers at Ibrox where a win would have seen Celtic crowned as champions. Lennon again blamed the referee, Callum Murray this time, said his team wouldn’t be allowed to win the game and that mitigating circumstances contributed to his side’s defeat. His side had two players correctly dismissed and the increasingly more lunatic Lennon was sent to the stand himself at half time and continues to embarrass his club and Scottish football with his inane ramblings. He really fits Lawwell’s master plan well and fills the useful idiot rile superbly.

Following Celtic’s defeat at Ibrox, two meat wagons appear on Great Western Rd at a pub called Wintergills I believe, two are arrested, one covered in blood following infighting amongst the Celtic support. Greatest fans in the world, don’t make me laugh, well perhaps they are the greatest in revelling in Rangers woes more than the love of their own side.

Celic fans’ spokesperson Joe O’Rourke tweets about wishing more Protestants died on board the titanic, it makes front page news in Ulster but not Scotland.

on the day Celtic wrapped up the title, hundreds of so called Celtic fans took to the streets in Govan to throw things at Rangers fans returning home from Ibrox and cause mayhem. A heavy police presence eventually turned up outside the Old Govan Arms to try to stem the nastiness. Poor losers and equally as bad winners. They just can't help themselves. Meanwhile Rangers buses were bricked and bottled near the tall cranes pub and as some Bears got off one bus to chase the offenders, around 80 appeared from nowhere to set about Gers fans with bottles, knives and other weapons, at least one bear was hospitalised, this hell hole has a long history of being dodgy for example KING Rat killer Crip McWilliams signed a poster celebrating the Maze murder which was hung it in a pub shrine to republican terrorism.
The poster, showing a rat caught in a trap, was just one of a number of items in the Tall Cranes Bar, glorifying the IRA and INLA terror campaigns.
But, this week, the sectarian memorabilia convinced licensing bosses to refuse the pub a late licence in the first move of its kind in Glasgow.
The application was thrown out following police complaints about the pub, which was also the scene of a "near riot" after a Celtic/ Rangers football game.
Police told the licensing board that on a routine visit to the Tall Cranes Bar in Craigton Road, Govan, officers found pictures on the walls glorifying Irish republican terrorists.
And days after the discovery, police were called to fighting outside the pub following an Old Firm game. The offending material included a picture glorifying the murder of LVF chief Billy Wright, who was shot dead by the INLA while in the Maze Prison in 1997.
Police said the picture, of a rat being caught in a trap, was signed by the three terrorists who were later jailed for his murder, including gunman Christopher "Crip" McWilliams.
It was dedicated to the "staff and patrons of the Tall Cranes Bar, Govan".
Other images included one of armed and masked gunmen firing a volley of shots over a coffin, a tribute to the 10 republican hunger strikers who died in the 1980s and paintings commemorating an IRA escape bid from the Maze.

The Tall Cranes was voluntarily closed by its owner Matthew Reilly shortly after the police discovery.
He had been hoping to have his regular late licence renewed at a meeting earlier this week so he could sell the bar.

But the board refused when Superintendent David Martin of Strathclyde Police told its members that it was ironic that while people in Northern Ireland were trying to bring about change, a pub in Glasgow was glorifying the violence they had suffered.

And he warned the Tall Cranes would not be the last pub in the city to be reported if others were found to be encouraging bigotry.

After semi final defeat by Hearts, Lennon runs on to the pitch and confronts the referee calling him a ****ing cheat. There was more of these antics in the tunnel from the Celtic manager, such a classless individual and fits very well with Celtic football club. It also emerges that several Celtic fans have been on Twitter wishing referee Euan Norris would die and asking for his address, all this because they can’t accept a beating, the treble went, now no double and they act like animals. Several media outlets suggest Celtic were robbed by Norris however they were gifted a goal that should have been cancelled for offside. Accept defeat with grace and dignity – no, not Celtic, it is always someone else’s fault.

impressive list and leaves the reader in no doubt as to the absurdity of the self proclaimed 'worlds greatest fans' label.

However I know a lot of decent celtic supporters and at Davie Coopers tribute outside Ibrox there was a quite astonishing level of genuine celtic tributes there.I was not aware of any desecration afterwards but dont doubt the possibility. Their actions to their own ie Jinky was a disgrace, even by their standards.

They were only 14 minutes from extinction but fortunately for them The Bunnet came to the rescue. Since then little appreciation of that, they have acted as if nothing had ever been wrong, conveniently ignored the shyte reputation they had built up and have since taken the club to greater depths through their unnacceptable beahviour.

What Celtic need is their good supporters to rise and speak out....rid themselves of the present Board and Green Brigade types for starters, show Lennnon the door and distance themselves from the whole Irish ideal.
WE on the other hand have taken massive steps forward to improve our image and distanced ourselves from the often misleading perceptions others have had of us and we are, though not quite the full article yet, near enough fully paid up members of the 21century. Sadly this has not been appreciated by the media as much as it ought to have been.

IMO being a rangers supporter without a celtic opposition just wouldnt be the same but if they cant clean up their act, and quickly, then they should be shut down. Enough is enough !

Its up to the SFA, the SPL, Celtic's commercial sponsors and the Scottish Parliament. Collectively, they hold the power to promote change for the good of the game and Scotland.

It was always discussed by my Rangers supporting family as factual by the generation who lived through that era and witnessed it.

If you think we dislike the rhats for their hatred and disloyalty to Britain, you really need to speak to Bears from the generation that saw them at their worst in WW2.

I've consistently said it but it bears repeating that it is utterly remarkable that not one of our fine journalists has written a book documenting the child abuse scandal from start to finish. Given the personalities involved, the serious subject matter, the cover ups, the court cases not to mention the collusive silence from the media themselves, there is a fricking blockbusting bestbseller begging to be written. Not only does it deserve to be written to give the victims a voice and a sense of closure but it needs to be written to expose the most shameful incident in the history of Scottish sport.

I recall a thread, or threads, on the thug John D, who assaulted a barkeep in Barcelona, but who was given anonymity here, and in Spain.
Did anyone ever discover his name, and/or his connection to a very influential piggery person?

During the match at Tynecastle on Feb 8 2012, a match where the new legislation was ignored by law enforcers who allowed IRA songs and other offensive chants to be belted out from the Celtic end of the ground, it has been reported that a ball boy of 13 years of age required hospital treatment after being struck by a coin thrown by one of the visiting fans. Will this group never be punished for their vile chants and long history of throwing missiles at players, refs, ball boys and anyone that they feel like?

Had an argument with one of the yahoos who was saying that the liverpool fan that made the monkey gesture towards evra was scum, to which I replied yes this fan shamed Liverpool and English football and was arrested the same night with liverpool cooperating with the police What happened to the celtic fans who shamed Scotland with their poopy day banner and how many arrests have been made with celtic cooperating with the police.

For me there should've been dozens of people at celtic charged as accessories to his crimes as they knew what was going on and never informed the police.

For me there should've been dozens of people at celtic charged as accessories to his crimes as they knew what was going on and never informed the police.

Following Celtic’s defeat at Ibrox, two meat wagons appeas on Great Western Rd at a pub called Wintergills I believe, two are arrested, one covered in blood following infighting amongst the Celtic support.

What about the riot, provo-fest and subsequent arrests at a pre-season game in Australia.

Their current scummy Manager being sent off for his behavior in a friendly?

Same said scumbag being sent to the stands in the last old firm game and not allowed by his own club to go the Directors' box, as he cannot obviously be trusted to behave.

Arrests made on Xmas night out in Newcastle due to fighting.

Mghedhino having to take taxi home for his own safety from other Xmas night out in London I think it was.

Fan attacking Dida on the park.

Liewell trying to pressurize SFA into changing derby fixture date, then issuing statement excusing fans potential misbehavior after their refusal to do so.

Damaging integrity of the league by lying about having an upcoming tour to force fixture congestion on creates rivals then recently asking for favour to be done if they face the same congestion next season.

Waging war on authorities, making a mockery of their disciplinary processes by enforcing concurrent running if 2 bans for their despicable Manager.

Causing a referees strike by their incessant pressure and harassment.

Fans congregating outside home of rival chairman threatening violence against he and his family.

Breaking of referees windows following decisions going against their team, by Celtc fans. In addition physical, telephone and Internet threats to the referees and their families by said fans.

Rioting in Liverpool by their fans pre-euro match in 1990's.

Pilgrimage by fans to site of Arndale Bomb, including Provo-fest, whilst down for CL game circa 2006.

Jump forward a couple of days from the Cup Semi Final v Hearts to Ibrox and U17 Glasgow Cup Final Rangers v Celtic. Celtic fans again shamed themselves, their club and Glasgow. This time it was flags, songs but most of all breaking of seats, letting off smoke bombs and flares and trying to melt seats and set them on fire – all in full view of the police who arrested no one. They are out of control.

The very week that Celtic fans flew a banner condemning racism and fascism, one of them gets arrested for racially abusing Kyle Bartley on Twitter and I have just found out that in 2011 a Green Brigade member gets found guilty of racist breach of the peace and booted out Uni for acts against an Israeli student. You can’t make this lot up. Remember they worship fascist Di Canio and sang about their support for the Nazi’s during the war and let’s not forget the vile racist abuse of Mark Walters. They can fly whatever banners they want but the truth is out there.

when i was working for SPS security at old trafford (mid/late 90's) i worked during Brian McClair's testimonial...before and during the game ceptic fans looted various food and alcohol kiosks inside the ground...we were understaffed (security and police) as man u didn't think there'd be the 10,000 or so thims. 200 sec. instead of 500. it was mayhem and nasty all through and at the end of the game we took up positions around the pitch to prevent invasion. as the teams were walking round the pitch after the game the thims were applauding their side etc. Brian McClair was at the end but when he came to the thim fans they turned on him and started shouting "traitor b*stard" and "scumbag", generally abusing him and spitting at him...it wasn't just one or two...it was the whole lot!!!. and he had his kids with him. JUST NASTY...my brother (ex army and SPS team leader) personally ejected over 60 thims before, during and after the match. apparently it was a record. the manchester police were all coming to him after it all ended to shake his hand because for 2 hours all we heard on the radio was "A**Y M****N to control....assistanced required...ejection/s at seat no. etc. the manchester police and SPS were genuinely shocked and appauled at the level of voilence and robbery and the abuse of "one of their own" and his family by the thims. never saw anything like it in their stadium...and on his testatimonial. we did warn them!!! they made a few enemies that night down south. total ejections from the ground were well into 3 figures. nothing in the papers because the thims were just chucked out and not arrested. little police precence. don't think man u really wanted to publicise such a disgraceful night either.

You can also add singing Pro IRA songs during 'minute silence' for Jim Baxter at Ibrox thus the referee having to cut it short to just 20 seconds. Absolute Scum!

from Berkovoic, ex Celtic, Israeli player.

Celtic was a big mistake for me, that's for sure. Celtic never understood me and I for sure never understood them. It was a club with an image which was full of self importance and role in the world. The club was going through troubled times and when manager John Barnes got the sack, my days there were numbered. It's hard to say this but I feel that I have to point out that Celtic, certainly at that time did not react well to people they did not consider "one of them". I am Jewish ad proud of my religion and background, Barnes and Ian Wright felt the same as me and they were quickly ostracised when results went against us. After one midweek game which we lost, Wright and Barnes were subject to really disgraceful racial abuse in the car park. It was at that point I knew I had to get out. I found it really disconcerting having to play in front of huge crowds where many fans had PLO flags and celebrated terrorist actions. They were backing an organisation which, after all, wanted the destruction of the state of Israel. How could I give one hundred percent for such a club with an ethos like that.

I haven't read the full 5 pages yet but I think there's another to add to the list. I recall reading something, possible on here, about a one-off cup tournament that took place pre-WWI. It might have been a coronation cup or maybe something to do with the Boer War. I believe we donated a stand-in trophy that should've been returned to us afterwards. The tarriers won the cup but refused to hand it back to us. Ring any bells?

from a US based Celtic fan who attended Parkhead recently

Why are Celtic fans on here still abusing another team I really do not understand the Scottish mentality there are still tickets for today's game at Parkhead why not show your support and go to the game ?are there not still season tickets .I was at Parkhead to see the friendly between Norwich with my son in law his father and 6 year old grandson I,m from USA as my family moved there over 40 years ago (over here for Olympics) so we were delighted to be invited to the football and already responded on a Celtic comment to that game which was a most unpleasant experience I did receive several abusive replies it appears you can give but don't like to receive to say I was shocked by the venom directed to a team that was not playing and also a player from "the auld enemy" as my cousin told me , who was playing on the night Fortunately the accents meant my grandson didn't understand half of it after the match they didn't discuss the game or the managers tactics or the games to come but instead choose to obsess on the Rangers situation and how much abuse they took on the night and what a wondrous day it will be at Parkhead when the try a heap further humiliation on the Rangers , how sad. I did say that this went way beyond bragging rights and was turning really nasty to be shot down by "I couldn't get job in the shipyard because of Rangers ????" some confused mess about politics religion and football ensued ,just like the posters on here who can't let go look forward They seem to be locked in some dark past time and appear happy to stay there and be portrayed as victims I tuned in this morning to find out if as my cousin said "Rangers would never kick a ball again as his Club Chairman would see to that " was indeed the case and actually I am now of the opinion I am delighted that Rangers have indeed got a license . My family loved Scotland it is a most beautiful country the people in general were really friendly however my lasting memory, will be of the that I witnessed first hand both from my family and at Celtic Park and I leave feeling sad that this is what is really important in their lives . Here in London for another 2 weeks what an opening ceremony what an atmosphere maybe you should take a look at what sporting integrity really looks you spout it but don't live it ,hopefully no one here will be shouting break his f.....leg

since rangers difficulties, many from Celtic couldn't help put the boot in although some ex players showed a bit more sense and refrained. Their manager, Neil Lennon who is never short of a word or two said plenty but it now transpires that he and John Hartson were involved in a less than legit tax scheme whilst playing for Celtic.

They are a strange bunch, they devote most of their time and energy investigating the GERS all the while ignoring the most disgusting of crimes.I urge all BEARS to keep highlighting their sordid past, because if the boot was the other foot there would have been a film,tv programme and books on the subject. The RHATS are on their knees every night praying we will continue to rarely mention their CRIME

You should kindly point out to him that in 2012 we still advertise public funded jobs in our education system that the successful candidate must be catholic church approved

Now if this isn't a sectarian recruitment policy then what is

What your saying doesn't really cover the extent of the popery rule.

It's not just schools that a non roman can get a principle job or higher without a letter from their priest. All the secure accommodation units in the west of Scotland are funded by the public purse but run by the Roman church. Posts in management in these units are subject to the popery rule of needing a priests letter to apply. So a non Roman kid put into a secure unit is essentially being forced into a Roman run unit with their ethos.

There are other instances but we want to bring that out in the web thread.

And in the early 60's a Labour MP,Hugh Delargy called for the liquidation of Celtic football club after numerous people were slashed with broken bottles by Yahoos in town for a match at Dens Park.

It's a pity we can't get a Rangers journalist to write a best seller about this pond life.

The worlds shame strikes again.

Despite the Daily Retard and BBC best efforts, local Dundee press, other rags and some Celtic sites have told the world.

Drunkenness.
Abusive antics.
Pissing in street and in doorways.
Drug use. (from Tim site)
Sectarianism.

That wasnt even at the ground.

More disorder, drunken antics, pissing and the threat of full on riot sees Dundee and the cops let them in.

Once in

Abuse of staff,
Threats to cops and staff,
Rumour of a cop getting a kicking, (Tim site)
Pissing where they stood,
Toilets trashed,
Sectarianism,
Slashing or stabbing ( from Tim site)
Violence and disorder
Full on disorder in front of kids.
Men and women punching lumps out of each other.

Dundee security says worse they have seen in 20 years. Others say worse ever yet some media won't touch it.

Glad i am not one of those animals.

This was when the piggery was closed by the SFA for around five months after their scummy fans rioted in a match against Dundee.
The ban ran from May to September 1920, which would have covered a chunk of the close season, however long or short that was back then.

Is there proof of this? I've heard it mentioned before but have yet to see anything concrete on it.

Jock Stein (reserve team coach), was advised by Celtic Board in late 1950's that he wouldn't progress any further at the 'Piggery', for obvious reasons.
Despite nurturing an excellent second string (many who would become the Lisbon Lions).

At this particular time and for many seasons before, Celtic were in dire straits.
Goalscoring legend Jimmy McGrory was in charge and his trophy haul was rather pathetic for Scotlands second/third/team.

Meanwhile 'Big Jock' was appointed First Team manager at Dunfermline Athletic, winning Scottish Cup, beating the Tims in Final, and leading them into Europe.

Back at the 'Piggerry' the 'Tims' fell from one crisis to another, well overshadowed by the 'Gers', as trophy after trophy, title after title arrived at Ibrox.

Playing in front of pathetic/hostile home crowds, under pressure, Chairman Bob Kelly had to act.

By this time 1965, 'Big Jock was managing Hibs, really his claim to fame at Easter Rd. was beating Real Madrid and Barcelona in friendlies.

The Celtic 'Family' by this time, were in a state of deep depression, after losing yet another final to Rangers, (L.C.).

Stein was approached by Kelly in Restaurant (not car park) and offered assistant manager post to Sean Fallon, (by the way McGrory still boss at this time).

B.J. refused this offer.

He was then approached a week later offered the job as co-manager with the Sligo born Fallon (by the way McGrory still manager at this time).

Knocked back again.

Chairman Bob was now in a quandry, there was no way the Celtic Board would agree to a Protestant manager.

But Kelly was in a position of power.

The Celtic chairmen rotated on an ancestral agreement of Kelly/Whyte/Kelly/Whyte, every so many years.

The chairman at the helm would have the casting vote and the power over the board to making a decision.

B.J. was then offered the job as being the first Protestant manager at the 'Piggery'. Much to the revulsion of many of the 'Celtic Family'.

Remember this was 1965, and this shower have always proclaimed to be an 'inclusive club'.

They had only been going for 77 years.

According to Archie McPhersons biography on B.J. after Kelly died, the knives came out for Celtic's greatest manager he had no friends on a 100 per cent R.C. dominated board.

In 1977, B.J. was asked to resign at the end of the season (May 1978).

He duly did.

Instead of being offered to be invited onto the board as expected, he was offered a position with Celtic Pools.

A totally undignified ending to someone who took their club to heights they could never have imagined.

Remember this was 1965, and this shower have always proclaimed to be an 'inclusive c

Celtic had only won one title since 1938 until Stein went their. He had been in a bad car smash with his bookmaker pal Tony Queen and was never really the same afterwards. The pools job offer was a humiliation.

THE youngsters at the boys' club cherished their shared dream.

It was that one day they would run out at Parkhead to the acclaim of the Celtic faithful.

But Torbett manipulated that to satisfy his perversions.

For seven days in a Glasgow courtroom, he sat ashen-faced as his victims looked him in the eye from the witness box.

James McGrory, who suffered two years of abuse, succinctly summed up the boys' dilemma.

He said: "All I wanted to do was play football for Celtic Boys' Club then Celtic. If I walked away, I was walking away from that."

For years, Torbett's victims buried the nightmare of what happened until August 1996 when the Record exposed the scandal.

James was at work and a colleague showed him our front page. He was confronted by Torbett's picture.

James said: "I felt tears coming on. I had to come home early from my work. My wife pestered me about what was wrong and I told her."

It was the first time James, now 44, had ever spoken about what happened.

Even though Torbett was just seven years older than most of the boys, they saw him as a father figure. Two boys even lived with him at his home.

Other youngsters were invited to his flat where they played cards or watched football on TV while gorging themselves on ice cream and sweets provided by Torbett.

All the time, he was looking for the most vulnerable boy to satisfy his lust.

Taxi driver David Gordon said: "I looked up to Torbett because of my football career and the fact he was spoiling me."

During the trial, claims were made that the Celtic board and Jock Stein knew what Torbett was doing but covered it up. Ex-boys' club player Alan Brazil commented: "If Celtic were aware and did nothing, I would feel very bitter."

After Celtic's historic European Cup win, the boys' club was booming.

But when Torbett was picking his team, he was also choosing his victims.

He promised them if they kept quiet then they were sure of a place in his squad.

Torbett built up a solid team of rising stars in the 70s and 80s but his sinister agenda began to emerge.

In 1972, parents complained about presents and trips given to boys. Torbett admitted he had done wrong. Jock Stein summoned him to Parkhead and is said to have physically lifted Torbett out of his chair and kicked him out of the room.

Boys' club official Frank Cairney was then asked to replace Torbett.

Torbett concentrated on building his business empire in the shape of the Trophy Centre firm, which boomed.

He returned to the boys' club after a few years, following Stein's departure.

Frank Cairney invited him back as a fundraiser but he was to have no contact with any of the boys' teams.

Soon, more complaints were levelled against Torbett, including boys being taken to non-existent tournaments. One ex-boys' club player said: "There was one in Spain when we never kicked a ball yet we were told to phone the sports desks of papers to say we won.

"I can remember lying that we played Real Madrid and Tommy Burns scored."

Time and again, complaints were never vigorously pursued.

At the same time, Torbett's business links with Celtic FC grew as he became their main supplier of trophies and memorabilia.

By the 80s, he had two Celtic directors on his payroll, Jack McGinn and Kevin Kelly. By this time, Kelly was a director of the Trophy Centre chain.

Millionaire Torbett, who started life in a council flat, had his own seat in the Parkhead directors' box.

At one point, he looked set to become a director until the plans fell through.

With the boys' club, Torbett's power over the youngsters was phenomenal.

In his arrogance, he believed he was untouchable and generations of youngsters would move on from their experiences.

But he failed to understand the depth of misery he callously caused - or that it would come back to exact a price from him.

Then there was Gob Gate when TLB claimed a Hearts player gobbed on him and the Sun faked a picture as proof, then admitted it was faked. There was a riot inside Dundee stadium earlier this year when they started fighting each other after some yes some decent celtic fans stood up against the GB. Then the GB itself if that's not the most sinister organised footballing fans group in the country then what is, They threaten their own to sing their cultured songs????

MON and GS ex managers forced not to wear a poppy yet both did at their new clubs.

The Club officials at West Ham and Millwall would give their right arms to get rid of their nasty element within their own support, but in Celtics Case what chance do you have when the officials at that club share the same views and sympathies as their supporters. Always cheated never defeated, offended by everything ashamed of nothing since 1888

I believe the opposition was Celtic and I believe the Hearts player was Dave MacKay. Perhaps someone can shed light on these memories

Can anyone remember this incident?
