To say this was a tragedy just doesn't do it justice. I have 2 young lads at 7 and 9 and the thought of them not coming back home with me from the football is incomprehensible.
My thoughts are with the family.

RIP.

agree mate, but just read about the lads going down to liverpool for the service and the close links with afc liverpool, guys like kevger and russell nash are an example to us all on what being a true supporter is all about. Erskine, markinch, margaret ferguson, nigel pickup, founders trail-book are an example of what great work is carried out by the best fans in the world!;)

Im not a true supporter any more mate. Ive not been at Ibrox for a couple of seasons and might not be back for another couple due to things that have been well documented and not for this thread.

True supporters are men like Delmonte and ABB etc.

Such a happy wee laddie, putting the face to the name we've known for 40 years brings it home, the pain the family and all the others went through
must have been unimaginable in trying to come to terms with how it happened
at a football match.

Such a young lad, such a loss.

Remember folks we are more than a club, the Rangers family are strong and will continue to be so for many years to come.

May young Nigel rest in peace with his last memories being watching the team that he loved.

Same here Mate. I don't cry often, but those pictures of wee Nigel have set me off.

To think he would only be 50 years old, with many years of his life still ahead of him, is heartbreaking :(

Safe in the arms of Jesus,
Safe on His gentle breast,
There by His love o'er-shaded,
Sweetly my soul doth rest.
Hark! 'tis a song of heaven
Borne in a song to me,
Over the fields of glory,
Over the jasper sea.
Safe in the arms of Jesus,
Safe on His gentle breast,
There by His love o'er-shaded,
Sweetly my soul doth rest.
