Brilliant video. A genuine love for The Rangers.

That turn! I remember watching his dvd in the past, and he said that his magical turn came from initially struggling to control a straight pass to him..... but soon created that turn out of it.

Ironic that Mols got injured trying to prevent Khan getting done in... irregardless... have hated that Khan bastard ever since.

It's harsh thinking of him as "what if" rather than what he did do... as true as that may be.

Wow......When you think about the foreign players that have left Ibrox down the years and still feel an attachment to the club, it goes to show what a great club we have.

Mols, Numan, Albertz, Amoruso, Gattuso, Laudrup, Gascoigne....come to think of it they were all part of an era where we had an unbelievable squad.:)

I'd love to have seen more of Mols, just a shame his career was cut short due to injury.

I'm assuming its all good.

that smile of his actually makes you smile.

I was in hospitality one day with the family, its was Mols' 1st start in ages and scored twice against Kilmarnock - think it was 6-1 or something that we won.

We met Mols outside the trophyroom and I said "Mikey!" and put my hand out and he was all smiles and shook my hand, then my 78 year old grandmother pipes up "how yi doin son?" and Mols is over giving her a hug and chat away to her like he had know her for years.

Top bloke and a gentleman to boot. Seen him at the Piggery a few times with his Rangers scarf on :)

Will never forget his last game against them at their place - think Sutton had scored late on to make 7 games without point/win against them and a good portion of us remained behind after the game singing "Rangers til' I die" and Mols is standing at the corner flag hands on hips looking into the crowd shaking his head as if to say "you guys are the best" !

That's the sort of publicity Rangers should be getting more often.

Mols was a brilliant player who could have achieved so much more if it wasn't for his terrible injury. That couple of months when we first signed him will remain in the memory of everyone who saw him.

The club obviously means a lot to him even now, and for that, he'll mean a lot to us.

Would love to know what's being said, even if the theme is obvious.

Fantastic player.I remember going to a sheep game at Ibrox after his injury and he scored two crackers. The eternal optimist in me thought we might see him return to the heights of his performance before the injury, but sadly wasn't to be.Still gave his all (and more) in a blue shirt, and that'll do for me.

As soon as he walked into Ibrox he knew it was for him, think he says he had butterflies or goosebumps (that kinda thing)........ Everytime he comes here it feels like home............ the people haven't forgotten me................ Has a laugh in changing room about his extra kit........

Cracking video. I honestly believe that Mols could have been one of the greatest strikers we have ever had at the club if it wasn't for his injury. Never seen a player who was better at holding the ball up. Also never seen a player who could turn in the space of 2 seconds and take out an entire defence. Gutted we never seen his full potential.

27-08-2010, 18:44
jesus, that is absolutely class! what a guy.

Hes one of the most technically gifted footballers ive seen, not in scotland, just in general. He was that good, and he could do it against the best opposition, bags of skill, stunning ball control, could run into 3 defenders and come out the other side still carrying the ball.

What about the mols turn? im sure every one of us tried it after he signed. A great move and very unique, cant think of anyone else doing that?

Just a great player, reading comments about khan in every mols thread is getting a bit tiresome right enough!

I love that man. :o

No Rangers players story hits me in quite the same way emotionally that Michael Mols does. Suppose it's the age I was at, but to me, he was the best player in the world. I would have picked him over Ronaldo or Zidane if a 12 year old me had to make that call. The injury was a nightmare, it was one setback after another. Still whenever he'd return he'd show that even a 70% Michael Mols is still better than most. I loved it every time he came back and you unexpectedly heard his name in the team on the radio before the game. It was a buzz knowing Mikey was back, you never knew how long it'd last, but you knew you were about to see him make some defenders look foolish, and see that smile again when he stuck one in the net.

He seems like one of the best guys ever too.

Legend.
