Some rumours:

Man U will pay the £28m Dortmund want to get Mkhitaryan.
Man U and Man City fighting for Palmeiras talent Gabriel (discussed on here last year) - £16m is the price tag but that could rise as other clubs sniff around too.
Chelsea really want Koulibally from Napoli and will pay the £30m they're looking for.
Breel Embolo has left Basle for Schalke 04.
Man U want Leonardo Bonucci but then who wouldn't? Price over £30m if he moves at all.
Pogba might go to Real Madrid...but fee is £100m and not negotiable. Most expensive player ever if it happens.
Zlatan might change mind - maybe - for Bayern Munich.
And maybe, maybe....City will splash their budget on Aubamayang but Dortmund don't want to sell at all for any price.

Disappointed about Mkhitaryan, thought he would be ideal for Arsenal.

Anyway, a couple more...

Morata - Rejoined Real Madrid, still getting linked to Chelsea & Arsenal though if Real sell on.

Zaza - West Ham in talks with Juventus to try and get him.

Croatian right back Vrsaljko has joined Atletico Madrid.

Nolito - Spanish Winger close to joining Man City

Nampalys Mendy is in Leicester for his medical, possible Kante replacement?

I think Mané can be a good player for Liverpool. He certainly knows where the goals are. Time will tell but not having CL football impacts on player recruitment both financially and in terms of calibre. All in all, with his age, I think a good signing.

He was excellent for Man Utd last season who were a solid side defensively. Smalling got most of the plaudits but Blind held the defence together.

I doubt he's good enough for Bayern Munich though to be fair. Certainly not as a starter every week.

Problem is what to do with him. Obviously a clever and technically competent player, even though my 75 year old mum is probably quicker over 20 metres. But is he a defensive midfielder? A centre back? Left back? Seems good at all but outstanding at none.
As mentioned above, might suit Arsenal well though doubt they'll pay what it would cost.

The 22-year-old scored 27 league goals in the Dutch top flight last season and netted a penalty on his international debut against England in March.

He is Spurs' second summer signing, after the £11m arrival of Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama.

French champions Paris St-Germain and German club Wolfsburg were also reported to be interested in Janssen.

His performances in his debut top-flight season earned him the Johan Cruyff Trophy, awarded to the Eredivisie's young player of the year.

Isn't his release clause £20m?!

Apparently if someone else comes in and offers more than £20M (I assume the Chinese Club) Leicester can reject a lower bid, so with all the interest surrounding Kante it's still within Chelsea's interest to agree an appropriate fee with Leicester. We'll see how this plays out, as journalists close to Leicester say any agreement just now is nonsense.

Vietto might be a loan signing and not permanent. Both options are apparently being discussed.

Barca want him as back up so they can rotate Neymar, Messi and Suarez more. I'm assuming Atletico are willing to let him go as he is not a starter at the moment.

For me Blind is a good solid player, maybe even really good.

As good as he is i just dont see him being the kind of top drawer player that goes to the top level clubs like BM, i was surprised he got to United tbh.

Blind would be a great signing for Arsenal, I think he could still do a job at ManU, great passer of the ball and could chip in a with a few goals if played in a defensive midfield role.

Think the difficult part for Arsenal is that they are in dire need of a top class striker, in an era where there isn't much available.

He's always had top forwards, from Bergkamp & Wright who he inherited, to Anelka, Henry, Kanu, Van Persie, Eduardo pre injury, made a player out of Adebayor etc. He's struggled the last few years now, leaving Higuain to attempt Suarez, losing out on Vardy etc. If not Higuain this time, then who's left? Icardi? Lacazette? Top teams aren't exactly breaking down the doors for either with their high valuation.

It depends how you look at it. Giroud got 16 goals last season in the league, that's the most he's ever got in the EPL. Meanwhile Higuain got 36 in Serie A. Giroud is decent at what he does, but he's not a natural goal scorer. It's such a waste to have the likes of Ozil, Sanchez, Ramsey & Cazorla in your team with the lack of a good goal scorer to put the chances created away (by the way the stats say that Giroud has one of the worst conversation rates for chances created in the top half of the table). It probably doesn't make a difference anyway as there's little chance of a transfer coming off.

As for Draxler, I get your point, other than the fact that he's actually 6 foot 2. Would Wenger perhaps gamble with trying a Van Persie like conversion with him, or tweaking his formation to have him or Sanchez up closer to Giroud?

Yep, as i mentioned earlier, i think his buyout clause is something like €98M, & they've insisted someone pays that for him. However, he has 2 years left on his deal, & he's insisted he's not signing a new one. So Napoli have a choice, he's at his max market value just now, will they compromise & sell while he's at his peak even if it's for more like £50M-£60M, or keep him the extra year and have that figure half next summer?

A front 3 of Martial - Ibrahimovic - Mkhitaryan is far superior to that of Eriksen - Kane - Alli.

I would agree. Spurs had a good season last year but if anything over-performed in what was a pretty woeful season, only made good by the Leicester story. Man City, Man United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea all had very poor seasons.

You use the Euros as the reason you think Pogba was poor, but Alli had a stinking Euros as did Kane, so does that mean they're hopeless too? :D

A front 3 of Martial - Ibrahimovic - Mkhitaryan is far superior to that of Eriksen - Kane - Alli.

Pogba is also far superior to Dembele. His Champions League performances against top European sides showed just how good a player he is, I doubt Dembele would dominate these games.

Mourinho will see Man Utd above Tottenham.

But this is FF where mentalism reigns :D

Dembele to rag doll Pogba?
