An extremely big miss today. His movement, energy, intelligence, ability and work rate was missed.

Nicky Law and Dean Shiels do not possess the same qualities.

Hopefully back for Tuesday night.

He left the Stadium with Clark and Templeton, posed for a few photos for fans.

We missed his industry and drive today, that was very apparent.

Jason Holt has already established himself as a key member of our squad and he is likely to improve. Excellent signing.

You can bet your arse he will be in the side on Tuesday. If not, he is 100% injured.

We missed him quite badly today I think.

I know Warburton said one game at a time but it's clear he decided not to risk Holt with Tuesday in mind.

Photo of training on Thursday and he seemed to be getting a massage on his calf muscle

Missed his intelligent movement big time today

Today showed how integral Holt is to the team.
He keeps the tempo of the play high with his swift simple passes and both his intelligent runs and general smart play were missed today.
The type of player who isn't really noticed when playing but is more noticed when he isn't.

Couldn't agree more. Very industrious, intelligent player who was greatly missed today.

Always there for the out ball and will take it forward 9 times out of ten.

I hope he is back for Tuesday.

I'm hoping he will be in the team for Tuesday, Holt, Halliday and Zelalem are fantastic together and are very intelligent and hard working players.

Rested, I would imagine.

If he has a niggling injury theirs no need to risk him ahead of an important cup game

I've lost count of how many times I've seen this lad make runs across the back line when our defenders have the ball and nobody tracks him.
Three times in one "across the back" possession spell against Livingston las week.
Unfortunately, this includes our defenders!
It's been a lot easier counting how many time this run has resulted in him getting the pass, or, more accurately the man in possession trying the pass.
Makes you wonder what these guys practice in training.😈

He's a really good player
Hope he is fit for tomorrow.

Him and Halliday have been excelent for me this season.
Both still very young as well.

For me our best player , intelligent , makes marvellous runs and passes and can score goals. Reminds me of a mix between durrant and iniesta and can pay him no bigger compliment. How hearts let him go for a paltry 65 grand is incredible.

Amazing how often the "unheralded" signings turn out to be the best ones!

quality addition, hopefully he is fit for tomorrow, love the way he finds pocket of space to pick up the ball, his energy and forward thinking passing is a big aspect of our attacking play. Key man.

I don't think it's a coincidence either that we've dropped off in our last 2 home games after he's been substituted.
