Good manager or simply someone who had a good spell? Forest poor, owners apparently not happy, and he could be replaced...

At one stage he was linked to us and is a good bear.

Thoughts?

Average manager at best. Has stabilised Forest, but don't think he's got the track record to take them up.

No Thanks.

Being a "good bear" should be irrelevant when choosing a new manager.

Mark Warburton for instance will be available and is worthy of consideration surely.

Didn't he just sign a two year deal a few weeks ago ?

I think he's is a decent coach , good techniques and ideas, but unsure if he is a manager if you know what I mean

Coaching is different.

Lost fourth home game in a row and camera showed owners grimly shaking their heads and muttering...

He should have stayed at Palace.

Forest seem to be chewing up managers and spitting them out. It's hard to infer much about a manager's quality on the basis of their time there. Freedman's career thus far doesn't suggest he's a managerial genius though. Not terrible, just a bit meh.

I know one of his former Chairmen. Liked Dougie, but got frustrated by his tactical naivety, whilst trying to play a defensive game.

Other than a brief, decent spell at a Palace that have got better and better since, he's done nothing really worthy of recognition.

If you look at his stats he is the same at every club starts off great but after about 12/15 games the rot starts in and they just keep getting worse.

I'd like to think King & co. will continue with a revamp of the managerial structure at the club as hinted at upon their arrival.

It's what we desperately need and a focussed plan to recruit the correct individuals to comprise that structure and take us forward is going to be the most important action they're likely to make.

Liked on here because of his love for Rangers.

Back in the football world he is not that good a manager. Seems to make a decent start, then it's downhill from there.

Another I'd avoid.

Always seems very average to be honest.

Agree with that.
