I never met the guy but the sheer bravery of facing his disease shone through his posts.
In recent times with Fernando battling MND he was brilliant with putting others faci g the same plight first.
I hope he learned the club was back in safe hands before he passed, it was clear from his posts that meant alot to him.

Condolences to your family and friends.
RIP SunnyJim. This day was for guys like you.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Your uncle was an incredibly brave and dignified man in the face of his awful illness. I'm glad he's not suffering any more but this board will be a poorer place without him. It's also nice to know he got to hear today's result. I hope it gave him some peace.

Sleep well Sunny Jim.

Remember his posts talking about Fernando, came across as a very brave man when describing his own battle. His passion for Rangers was clear in his posts.

Death will come to us all and truly sorry for your loss, however it's great to hear he went out with a smile on his face knowing that we are on our way back and rid of Spivs.

Along with all absent friends he now has the best view in the house to watch us go from strength to strength all while singing Follow Follow to the Rangers that they love.

Sorry mate I also had a very dear friend Ian Douglas, great Rangers man from Govan die from it here in Melbourne we had a special night in the Hyatt in Melbourne for the Rangers club and Ian clung with his hands on the League cup and didn't want to let it go.(which was with the Rangers contingent ) Ian Ferguson and Stuart Munroe were there and made Ian Douglas feel so special which I applaud them for, and after that great night he just went, I sat with him the whole night and even Ians voice was going it is a HORRIBLE horrible disease and we share your grief in this sad time. RIP Jim, you at least can rest in the knowledge that our team is in now good hands.
