Nacho Novo's late strike sent Rangers into the last 16 of the UEFA Cup on away goals after trailing Panathonaikos for the majority of a pulsating tie. The hosts started strongly and Allan McGregor pulled off several fine saves but couldn't keep out Ioannis Goumas' spectacular 12th-minute volley. As Panathinaikos continued to dominate McGregor denied Giorgos Karagounis and Loukas Vyntra with acrobatic stops. But Novo's 81st minute equaliser gave Rangers the priceless away goal
2009 - Rangers 3 (Miller 2,Boyd) Kilmarnock 1 - Scottish Premier League (50,301)

1981 We were winning at half time then collapsed, another typical day against the beggars under John Greig. A young Charlie Nicholas scored 2.

1998 What a winner from Albertz!

1981 - As you say, the usual fare at the cesspit, and it didn't change overnight with Souness either.

2008 - Hit the crossbar that night. Had Rangers, Spurs (at home) and Bolton away at Athletico Madrid.

H/T home win
F/T draw (usually don't touch the teddies in Europe at all)

Wee Novo and I think it was a Prague mob at Spurs obliged to give me £128 for a 20p double. Bolton drew 0-0 in Madrid.

Just about the only thing I remember of that 2008 game is Novo's celebration!

Hibs 1998, was that beambacked to Ibrox?

Sure I watched a game at Ibrox from Easter Road with a late Albertz winner.

Alex MacDonald ordered off in goalmouth melee. Astonishingly, Brogan received no punishment for his role in the incident. Score was 1-1 at this point.

Sellik never defeated, always cheated.

2002. Barry Ferguson's first penalty for us (excluding pentalty shoot out in Paris) I think.

There was a horror tackle on Hughes from that big Dutch poof I think.
